Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 15, 2026

1. Introduction

DeltaBoard AI ("we", "our", or "the Service") is a web page change monitoring tool developed by Selvakumar Murugesan. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website (https://deltaboard.selvaonline.com) and Chrome extension.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account via AWS Cognito, we collect your email address and name. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by AWS Cognito.

Page Monitoring Data

When you watch a page, we store the URL, page title, and text content snapshots for change detection. We also store detected prices for price tracking features. This data is associated with your account and is not shared with third parties.

Chrome Extension Data

The Chrome extension accesses the current tab's URL and title when you click the extension icon. It also runs a content script on our dashboard domain to sync your authentication token. The extension does not collect browsing history, keystrokes, or any data from pages you do not explicitly choose to watch.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To monitor web pages you choose to watch for changes
  • To generate AI-powered change summaries using AWS Bedrock (Meta Llama)
  • To send email notifications about detected changes via AWS SES
  • To track product prices and display price history charts
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your account

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in AWS DynamoDB in the US East (N. Virginia) region. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use AWS Cognito for authentication with industry-standard JWT tokens. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following AWS services to operate DeltaBoard AI:

  • AWS Cognito — User authentication
  • AWS DynamoDB — Data storage
  • AWS Lambda — Backend processing
  • AWS Bedrock (Meta Llama) — AI change summaries
  • AWS SES — Email notifications

These services are governed by the AWS Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual watched pages and their associated data at any time from the dashboard. To delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below.

7. Chrome Extension Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

  • activeTab — To read the current tab's URL and title when you click the extension
  • storage — To store your authentication token locally
  • scripting — To detect prices on product pages and sync auth from the dashboard
  • tabs — To find the dashboard tab for authentication sync

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Delete your watched pages and associated data
  • Request complete account deletion
  • Opt out of email notifications at any time

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date.
